Overview: actors are randomly assigned to the cast of a ten minute play. The groups will have one hour to prepare a reading of their assigned play. 

6:30-7

DIRECTOR REVIEWS RULES AND LEADS WARM-UP.

Actors pick a card from the shuffled piles on the table. Groups (casts) are formed based on the number on the cards. 

THE PLAYS ARE THEN REVEALED AND DESCRIBED BY THE DIRECTOR. SCRIPTS ARE DISTRIBUTED. 

7-8:00

Within each group, roles are assigned, the play is read and discussed, then rehearsed until time is up. DIRECTOR CIRCULATES TO ASSIST.

7:45-8:00 audience arrives
