Characters:
CHARLES CONDOMINE: ( m; 25-50) Charles is an intelligent and urbane novelist.
RUTH CONDOMINE: (f; 25-50) Ruth is the wife of Charles. She is practical and intelligent, and a bit jealous of Charles’ deceased first wife.
DR. BRADMAN: (m; 40-70) A pleasant-looking middle-aged man, a friend of the Condomines.
MRS. BRADMAN: (f; 40-70) The wife of Dr. Bradman, Mrs. Bradman is middle-aged and a bit silly.
MADAME ARCATI: (f; 25-70) An eccentric spiritualist.
ELVIRA: (f; 25-40) Charles Condomine’s deceased first wife, Elvira returns as a ghost with a goal. In the process, she makes Charles’s and Ruth’s lives very complicated.
EDITH: (f; 20-40) The Condomine’s maid. Nervous and always in a hurry.
